On Tuesday October 30th, 2018 members of the adult Nu World Art Ensemble from WombWork Productions, Inc. performed at the Samuel Ogle Middle School to kickoff the start of an artist residency workshop to last until Friday November 2nd, 2018.

On Saturday October 20th, 2018 members of the adult Nu World Art Ensemble performed at the Hampton Mansion and Ridgely Estate Plantation in Towson, MD for the Hampton Harvest Day Festival. WombWork Productions, Inc. art ensemble members dressed up in period time pieces of slaves at the Ridgely Plantation and shared the stories of their ancestors.

On Sunday October 14th, Godwin Mongi stopped by the WombWork BlackBox Theatre on Walbrook Avenue to say hello to Mama Kay, Mama Rashida, and members of the WombWork Productions, Inc. family. He has been working in Tanzania as a Master Virtues Facilitator, and was stopping through Baltimore before attending a conference in Washington, D.C.. As a showing of goodwill and support, WombWork Productions, Inc. donated $1,000 towards Godwin Mongi to support the growing WombWork Productions, Inc.-inspired branch in Tanzania. This allows for a greater connection and relationship with connections back in East Africa.

Nu World Art Ensemble has been busy lately working at various schools through the Young Audiences of Maryland program where we get the opportunity to perform at various Baltimore schools using our social change and virtues methodology.
On Thursday October 11, 2018 members of the Nu World Art Ensemble came to the James McHenry Elementary/Middle School to perform Standing on the Shoulders of Our Ancestors.

Mama Rashida Forman-Bey has been spending the last two months at Coppin State University directing the show For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.
Mama Rashida blended together the expertise and artistry of various WombWork Productions, Inc. art instructors in the nuanced and vibrant performance of this show during the first week of October.
